The ICT Association of Malawi has recognised Baobab Health Trust BHT for introducing various innovations in the health sector.
The innovations includes the development of over 20 electronic medical records modules deployed in various health facilities in Malawi.
Vice President of the Republic Malawi Dr. Saulos Klauss Chilima presented the award in Mangochi on the sidelines of an ICT Innovation platform attended by hundreds of ICT experts from various disciplines.

Director of Engineering at BHT Alex Gondwe received the award on behalf of BHT and thanked BHT staff, Malawi government , development partners and various implementing partners for the achievements registered this far.
Above all Gondwe said “we are happy for the contribution we are making to Malawi’s health sector and we believe the innovations are simply solutions to numerous challenges the health sector has been experiencing when it comes to data development, access and management.
